In over two decades with QPS, Jeri’s natural ability to build lasting and trusting relationships has allowed her to rise from a sales representative to Executive Vice President of Sales.  She’s been involved in every aspect of QPS’ book of business since starting in 1996. She has made a positive impact not just on QPS and her clients, but on the lives of the people she’s helped place while starting and growing QPS’ Professional division. A graduate of University of Wisconsin - Madison, Jeri is also a member of ROW- Recruiters of Wisconsin, Food and Beverage Wisconsin, and the National Association of Personnel Services.

Kurt Baumann

VP Consulting Services, Armstrong & Associates, Inc.

As Vice President for Armstrong & Associates, Inc., Kurt serves 3PLs with strategic consulting services, including 3PL strategic planning and M&A operational due diligence. He has helped over twenty 3PLs to grow their businesses more profitably, by crafting effective Business Plans that define strategic growth initiatives, develop service portfolios, restructure, identify investment requirements and establish financial goals.

As Managing Director of 3PLR LLC, an A&A affiliate for operations consulting and recruiting, Kurt leads the effort to assist manufacturers and distributors with a range of logistics operations challenges, including supply chain network optimization, logistics outsourcing, warehousing productivity, transportation cost efficiency, performance metrics & benchmarking, technology implementation and staffing. 3PLR leverages experienced consultants to recruit for key roles in Logistics leadership and operations, 3PL business development, and continuous improvement. 

Prior to joining A&A, Kurt held leadership positions in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Supply Chain Consulting Practice (now, IBM) and GE Healthcare’s Global Supply Chain Operations Group. Over 25 years, Kurt has served 70 companies across 11 industries via employment and professional consulting. Kurt earned a MBA in Supply Chain Management from UW-Madison and a Six Sigma Black Belt from General Electric.

Kurt participates in A&A research and publication. He serves on the board of directors for The Logistics Council (TLC) and the German-American Chamber of Commerce (GACC).  He is past-president of TLC and the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Milwaukee. Kurt speaks at seminars and trade events for TLC, CSCMP, GACC, Transportation Intermediaries Association, Wisconsin Warehousing Association, World Trade Association, and EyeForTransport.

Bob Carver

Vice President Cloud Inventory Solutions, DSI

A highly successful supply chain sales and operations leader with over 33 years of experience, Bob’s professional career has involved selling and implementing a broad range of solutions to Fortune 1000 enterprises, as well as the SMB marketplace. Focused specifically on supply chain management and execution applications, Bob has worked extensively with C-level executives and understands how to transform their business objectives to actionable solutions in the retail, manufacturing, consumer product goods, 3PL, food and beverage, chemical/pharmaceutical, government (defense) and wholesale distribution industry verticals. He has been a key player in leading several firms through the merger and acquisition process.

Doug Fisher

Associate Professor Emeritus of Practice, Marquette University

Dr. Fisher served as assistant professor of supply chain management and Director of the Center for Supply Chain Management from 2008-2019. He brings three decades of experience in the logistics field to the college and the center. Dr. Fisher earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Kansas and an MBA and DBA in management/transportation/quantitative analysis from Indiana University.

Dr. Fisher has held executive positions in the air cargo, LTL, non asset-based forwarding and logistics-software industries. His range of positions includes assistant general manager, vice president-marketing, vice president-corporate development, vice president-international, and president. He has addressed fundamental revenue-facing activities, troubled-business turn-arounds, and businesses facing strategic change in their markets. In addition, he taught logistics and global trade management at Auburn University.
